Instructions for authors

General Information

Any person wanting to register to the Conference should pre-register. Fill in the Pre-registration Form to get your password and user name back by email.

Official Language

All papers, posters and oral communications shall be made in English. There will be a simultaneous translation service.

Presentation of papers

If interested in making a presentation in LUBMAT Conference, an extended abstract (up to one page) shall be submitted in due time. Abstracts will be subject to peer review and, if approved, authors will be asked for submitting a complete paper.

INFORMATION for ABSTRACTS:
Authors presenting papers to Lubmat 12 are required to submit them using the submission form online.
You must register as a Private User to submit an abstract. Once the Pre-registration Form is completed, you will receive an e-mail providing a username and a password  to access the Private Area.

Please have all the abstract information ready before you start as that will make this step a lot easier. We strongly advise that you have any text parts in a file in your word processor so that you can copy and paste them into the system. You will be able to type them in, too (maximum length of the abstract = 300 words).

Along with the abstract title and content, you will be asked for the following information in the Abstract Submission form:

· First Author
If you are the First Author for the abstract, then your contact details will be used.
If you are not the First Author and you are going to manage the abstract (i.e., making changes yourself until the deadline of submission of abstracts), you will be asked to enter the First Author's details and you will be treated as a Manager.

· Co-Authors:
If there are any contributing author/s for the abstract, they should be entered in the order in which you wish them to appear in the Book of Abstracts. You will be asked to enter the author´s title, initials, surname and affiliation. There is no limit regarding the number of co-authors.

· Authors' Affiliations:
Please ensure that you have the official name and country for each institution since this information will be printed in the Book of Abstracts.

· Presentation Type:
The Organizing Committee will decide wheather your contribution is selected to be presented as an Oral Presentation or as a Poster.

· Once the Abstract is Complete:
In the Private Area you can save your information and abstracts and you will be able to return to edit them at a later point. You will find updated information about your abstracts once they are evaluated by the Committee.

· Graphic Elements:
If you want to include any image to your abstract, please indicate in the text where it must be placed and then upload the file/s (a maximum of two) by clicking the "Upload image" button at the submission form. Please send a document showing the image position.

Key dates

EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF PAPERS: April 9.

Notification of acceptance/revision of papers: April 20.

Deadline for submission of requested modifications on papers (when needed): May 2.

Deadline for submission of audiovisuals: May 28.
